Improv
Red Line Break

Next improv Class Coming in January

Known as one of the scarier aspects of theater, Improvisation is also one of the best ways to hone your skills as an actor. In this 3 hour class, taught by Anna Smulowitz and Marc Clopton, Improv is uncloaked, demystified and turned into an exciting tool that enhances an actor's stage work. It's also a heck of a lot of fun.

Classes focus on improvisational games and exersises which helps the participants strengthen their imagination, creativity, spontanaeity and self-confidence. Various theater skills are explored such as:

  • Voice
  • Movement
  • Dialogue Work
  • Improv Scene Building
  • Partner/Trust
  • Ensemble Work
  • Courage

Actors expand their willingness to take risks while developing essential skills. The class is open to all adults over the age of 18, whether you have previous acting experience or not. Classes are $30 and are typically held the first Monday of each month.

For more information or to sign up for class, please call (978) 463-3348 and leave a message in the class mailbox.
